Looking for committed people 18+ who can offer a few hours or all weekend, July 23 and/or 24. From July 30th - 31st, 2022 Calgary will become host to Hockey Night in Canada’s Play On! street hockey tournament which features recreational and competitive 4-on-4 street hockey divisions for boys, girls, men, and women of all ages and skill levels. We are looking to find volunteers in the Calgary area to support the planning, promotion, officiating, and operations of Hockey Night in Canada's Play On! event. ASL ESL Class Tutor

Description: SUMMARY OF POSITION This position supports the ESL Instructor to work either one on one or in small group activities with ESL learners who have developmental, physical and/or learning disabilities. Key roles with duties are: General Managers: responsible for overseeing all roles and event in conjunction with Cash Casino supervisor staff Bankers: responsible for supervising the cash cage, managing cashiers and chip runners, and documenting all transactions. Cashiers: responsible for receiving and counting cash from banker and redeeming players' chips for cash. Full Bloom Festival at Lougheed House

Description: The Full Bloom Festival at Lougheed House is a celebration of the Beaulieu Gardens for the Beltline and Downtown Calgary communities. Sunshine loving volunteers are invited to join us and lend a hand on Sat & Sun, August 13 & 14. Volunteers are needed to assist is many roles including: Children’s Activity Tent Support Beer Garden Support Pet PAWrade Support Volunteer Relief Support Photography and Documentation First Aid and Information tent Volunteer shifts are either half days of 4.5 hours each or full days of 9 hours each (with breaks of course!)
