Serving on a Policy Governance Board, Directors advise on governance matters and oversight, strategic planning, and risk management to achieve the Society mission and promote its values. The board must exercise fiduciary oversight to ensure financial stability. Directors will help promote the mission and values of Potential Place Clubhouse in the community. Requires Professional Certification or other related education and experience in key competencies of Policy Development, Financial Planning and Oversight, Fund raising. Human Resources Mgmt, Community Relations & Communications, Entrepreneurship. Project Management, IT Management Preferred prior experience with non-for-profit organizations and Board Governance. Preferred experience with fund raising, fund development and Community/Government engagement.
