Description: Circles of Support and Accountability (CoSA) is a community-based, restorative justice project that helps reduce re-offence rates by supporting and assisting persons with histories of sexual offending in integrating with the community and leading safe, responsible, and accountable lives. Circles are a support group of 3-5 screened and trained community volunteers formed around a person with a history of sexual offending (the "core member"). CoSA volunteers believe the best way to ensure public safety is to help core members find their place in the community and be surrounded by a committed group of people who will support them and hold them accountable for their actions.
