Memory care programs are essential for the engagement and wellbeing of individuals with dementia, and play a key role in providing respite opportunities for family caregivers of individuals with dementia. JFSC proudly offers in-home memory care programming with the help of our wonderful Memory Care Volunteers. Do you have a knack for art, puzzles, music, or physical games? Or do you simply love spending quality time with others? Memory Care Volunteers provide in-home one-on-one companionship and leisure activity support designed to engage individuals living with memory loss or a diagnosis of a dementia, such as Alzheimer’s Disease, while also providing the opportunity for caregiver respite. The commitment is 3-hour bi-weekly visits. Please join us in delivering this essential support to individuals with dementia and their caregivers!
