BTWD brings together like-minded Calgarians to promote cycling as a viable means of transportation, reduce inner-city traffic congestion, and reduce pollution in the air. Cycling is a great addition to a healthy lifestyle and can be very cost effective – not to mention how much time is saved by not sitting in traffic. BTWD promotes a sense of community. With the effects of climate change weighing on our shoulders, biking to work is a simple way to reduce carbon emissions and our environmental impact.

Black Pride YYC is a Calgary based 2SLGBTQ+ non- profit, volunteer-driven and community service organization providing support programs to the African, Black and Caribbean communities.
BOSS Dodgeball Calgary League is a non-profit organization operated by a team of passionate, dedicated, and professional individuals, who truly value athleticism and sportsmanship. The athlete in us allows us to play and excel in the sport. The professional in us allows us to properly manage and promote growth in the organization. But most importantly, the recognition of being amongst friends allows us to take this sport to a more personal level. As a non-profit sports league, we encourage volunteers to get involved in this fun environment and to learn more about Dodgeball.
Our ultimate goal is to bring the community together by spreading the love for Dodgeball. We strive to create an inclusive, friendly, and fun environment where all participants can enjoy the sport. As we continue to grow, we will always remember our core value: we are a community. We are committed to giving back to the community through member appreciation events, sponsorships, and charity events. We are extremely excited and we look forward to building strong relationships with members of our league and our community!
The Botanical Gardens of Silver Springs is a totally volunteer run organization that has created a botanical garden which stretches over 2 kilometers and includes 19 separate gardens focused on themes, plant types or activities. 60 Volunteers give over 9000 hours annually to maintain these gardens.

For the last three decades, you’ve known us as the Breast Cancer Society of Canada, but with a disease that is ever evolving, we have also evolved.

We serve both local and international communities and focus on tackling root causes of poverty to create sustainable and lasting change in the lives of those we serve.</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400">We have an exciting volunteer opportunity for a Grant Administrator! You will work remotely, about 4 to 6 hours per week and apply your skillset to support the grant/funding application process at Bright Lights for Africa.</span>
