Handsome Alice is a project-based theatre company that supports women and non-binary perspectives through creative narratives that fuse life and art. The Role The Chair presides over all meetings of the Board and the Annual General Meeting. The Chair works cooperatively with the Artistic Producer and provides leadership to the Board. DESCRIPTION OF POSITIONS General Manager (computer literate) - opens and closes gaming tables, supervises transactions Banker (computer literate) - prepares chip runs, manages transactions in computer system Cashier (cash handling experience strongly advised) - performs chips for cash transactions with patrons Chip Runner (somewhat computer literate) - takes chips to gaming tables, opens and closes gaming tables Countroom (computer literate)- performs cash count from gaming tables at end of day Backup - called in on short notice to cover in case scheduled volunteer is unable to work shift IMPORTANT: A volunteer may work more than one shift, however, they MUST work in the same position (i.e. a cashier may only volunteer for another shift as a cashier) NOTES All volunteer positions are VERY EASY, only require brief training from Casino Advisor the day of the casino. Free parking will be available, and food/meals are provided for volunteers on the day of the casino. GM, Banker, Cashier and Countroom Supervisor must complete an AGLC Volunteer Application Form which will be sent to you after signup.
