Parkdale Nifty Fifties Senior Association Board of Directors Job Description TREASURER Mandate: to oversee the financial activities of the organization Reports to: Board of Directors, Board President  Serves on the Executive Committee.  Gives regular reports to the Board on the financial state of organization.  Prepares the annual budget in conjunction with the Executive Director.  Reviews the bank statements and bank reconciliation on a monthly basis  Consults with the accountant and Executive Director on accounting matters.  Keeps financial reports on file in conjunction with the Executive Director  Chairs the Finance Committee.  Acts as signing officer, with another officer or Executive Director for cheques and other documents.  Speaks for the budget in partnership with the Executive Director and Finance Committee.  Makes sure all necessary financial reports are filed.  Ensures that an annual audit is carried out.  Orients the new Treasurer.
