Welcome to Girl Guides! We empower young girls and women to be everything they want to be, and as a volunteer, you will help make that happen! Our volunteers support girls as they build confidence, develop new skills and become leaders in their communities. As part of a unit’s leadership team, you’ll facilitate fun and engaging program activities, like scavenger hunts, arts and crafts, outdoor exploration, games and more. You can choose to work with girls in one of five branches: Sparks (age 5-6), Brownies (age 7-8), Guides (age 9-11), Pathfinders (age 12-14) or Rangers (age 15-17).

Mulloy School is located in the northwest community of Huntington Hills, which is situated at the base of Nose Hill between the communities of Beddington Heights and Thorncliffe/Greenview. Our school offers the Traditional Learning Centre Program. We offer kindergarten classes as well. Students coming to our school for are a culturally diverse group of learners who contribute to a vibrant, challenging and support environment for teaching and learning.

We are a boxing and fitness club for youth, adults, older adults & seniors.  We have been in operation in Calgary since 2012, offering both competitive and recreational boxing training.  In 2016 we launched an adaptive fitness and cognitive skills based program for people living with Parkinson's Disease.  This program is non-contact of course and it is truly at the "heart" of everything we do at Grizzly!

At Grow Calgary, our ultimate goal is to ensure that all residents of Calgary, especially those who are vulnerable and living in poverty, have consistent access to healthy, local food. Grow Calgary is a 100% volunteer-run community farm; We donate 100% of the fresh food we grow to compassionate social agencies in Calgary with food access programs. Thanks to our volunteers and the generous spirit of our community, we have donated to over 40 Compassionate Food Access Agencies in Calgary, with 95% of our recipients being women and children.   From planting seeds to building greenhouses, each day at Grow Calgary represents a new opportunity to learn. Mother nature is our true boss, so please come with a flexible mindset. Task-lists change from day to day depending on the time of season & weather conditions. Some tasks may include seeding & transplanting, mulching garden beds, watering plants, pest control, or harvesting produce.
