We are an activity centre. We currently run about 30 classes, clubs and activities per week.
Calgary Newcomers Guide, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping newcomers and immigrants in Calgary. Our mission is to develop comprehensive assistance programs that overcome language barriers, provide employment support, and assist with settlement planning.

The Community Development Program (Dream Team) embodies the commitment at Lidi Wellness to community impact by offering no-cost consultancy services to individuals, particularly those at risk, who aspire to start their own businesses. There will be a special emphasis on creating various kinds of co-operative organizations that empower all staff members, Through strategic partnerships with local organizations like The Mustard Seed and Calgary Drop-In Centre, the program identifies and supports clients, providing them with mentorship, resources, and tailored guidance to help turn their entrepreneurial visions into reality.
Children's International Summer Villages Association

CISV is an international, nonprofit, nondenominational organization called Children’s International Summer Villages (www.cisvcalgary.com), in which we promote peace through multicultural summer camps. Next July, our chapter will be hosting a summer camp called a Village. During this month, twelve delegations of 11 year olds along with their leaders from all over the world will live together while participating in activities to help build lasting international friendships and multicultural understanding. We are looking for volunteer staff to help run our program.
Modern Moai is a grassroots initiative in Calgary, inspired by the Japanese tradition where small groups of people meet on a regular basis to build deep friendships and meaningful connections.
Modern Moai is working to inspire people all across the globe to make time for face-to-face connection.

STEAMistic is a youth-led initiative that aims to distribute STEAM-related educational materials & activities to youth from low socioeconomic status (SES) backgrounds across Calgary & Edmonton. Our activities encompass a diverse array of subjects within Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. These immersive activities are designed to meet educational standards while fostering engagement and hands-on learning.
Goal: To ignite curiosity among the youth, help them build innovation skills, leadership skills and critical thinking skills.
Mission: To provide accessible STEAM education & activities to young people across Calgary and Edmonton; to encourage innovative, scientific imagination; and to foster an interest in STEAM among young people.

The Western Canada Peer Training Society (WCPTS) is dedicated to fostering peer support communities that inspire hope, enhance resilience, and promote well-being. Through specialized training and mentorship, WCPTS equips individuals with lived experience to support others, creating inclusive and supportive environments. The organization also offers practicum placements, mentorship, and monthly community practice sessions, providing ongoing growth opportunities for peer supporters.
Crohn’s and Colitis Canada is the only national, volunteer-based charity focused on finding the cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis and improving the lives of children and adults affected by these diseases.
We are one of the top two health charity funders of Crohn’s and colitis research in the world, investing over $150 million in research since 1974, leading to important breakthroughs in genetics, gut microbes, inflammation and cell repair as well as laying the groundwork for new and better treatments.
We are transforming the lives of people affected by Crohn’s and colitis (the two main forms of inflammatory bowel disease) through research, patient programs, advocacy, and awareness.
Between Friends has been offering social and recreational programs in Calgary and the surrounding area for close to 40 years. Through our programs, we endeavor to benefit all people and increase the community’s awareness, positive attitudes, and sensitivity towards their fellow citizens with disabilities.
Through the name updates, program additions and changes and adapting to the ever-changing circumstances of our society Between Friends has remained committed to providing quality social and recreational programming for people with disabilities.
Wheelchair rugby is a co-ed parasport that is fast, physical, and exciting. CWRA supports our local athletes and encourages new players to come out and give the sport a try!
