Board Members Needed! About UsDEFEND is an international nonprofit dedicated to reducing online risks for children and vulnerable individuals. As we expand our organization and incorporate, we are focused on building a strong and effective leadership team to drive our mission forward. Through targeted initiatives and collaborative efforts, we aim to create a safer online environment for everyone. Role DescriptionWe are currently seeking volunteer Board Members to join our team and play an essential role in guiding DEFEND’s strategic direction and maintaining our mission. Board Members will meet once per month via Zoom (approximately one hour per session) and will work closely with our Committee and executive staff/volunteer Volunteers (who are running the corporation on a day-to-day basis) to oversee organizational policies, financial decisions, and overall mission alignment. MS Walk is a one-day event held at over 50 locations across Canada, bringing together people impacted by multiple sclerosis. On May 31, gather your friends, family, and coworkers for a day of meaningful action.
