Join us for our 5th annual Golf for Wishes tournament at Priddis Greens Golf and Country club on Thursday June 18, 2026. This fun-filled event will help to raise critical funds for Make-A-Wish to allow for more Wish Kids throughout Southern Alberta to have their most heartfelt wishes granted! We are looking for volunteers to support in various roles throughout the day to help ensure the event runs smoothly!Date: Thursday June 18, 2026 (6:00am-2:00pm - shift times will vary)Location: Priddis Greens Golf & Country Club (1 Priddis Greens Dr, Priddis, AB T0L 1W3) - Check-in Location: President's RoomVolunteer Roles:- Set-up and Registration: help set up signage, the silent auction, and registration tables. Once set-up completed, volunteers will them help to check-in event guests, providing a swag bag and letting them know which cart they will have for their golf round.- Selling Mulligans and String: take cash/card payments for selling these items to golfers before they begin their round.- Volunteer Lead: Helps to organize volunteers, check in volunteers for their roles and direct them to where they need to go.- Vendor Liaison/Driver: Help direct golf course vendors to where they will be setting up, drive them to designated holes by the start of the first round.- General Set-up (6:00am and 7:30am start times): connect with Volunteer Lead and assist with extra tasks as needed throughout the shift, help get signage out on the course, ensure set-up is complete.- Volunteer Driver/Runners: driving a golf cart to help take signage and vendors out (and back) to specific holes.- Hole in One Spotters: Sit on the designated hole and watch for hole in ones, track accordingly.- Pro Challenge Support: collect donations from golfers trying to beat the golf pro's shot - donations get entries into a prize drawOther Notes:- Free onsite parking, location is NOT transit accessible- Volunteers must be able to walk various distances, standing/walking required for the duration of most shifts, bathrooms on course will require walking to access- Breakfast/lunch provided depending on shift time- Dress Code: MAWC T-shirt (if you do not have one, it will be provided) or collared golf shirt, black pants (golf course has a NO JEANS policy), comfortable shoes- To bring: water bottle, snacks if needed, sunscreen- Training provided day-of- Volunteers must be 18+ to participateTo sign-up to volunteer, please visit: VolunteerSignup - Online volunteer signup sheets - Golf for Wishes - Priddis Greens - June 18, 2026 signup sheet

The 2026 Calgary Jayman BUILT MS Walk takes place Sunday May 31st at North Glenmore Park. MS Walk is a one-day event held at over 50 locations across Canada, bringing together people impacted by multiple sclerosis. On May 31, gather your friends, family, and coworkers for a day of meaningful action. The Calgary Jayman BUILT MS Walk has various volunteer opportunities onsite where volunteer help is needed to ensure that this event runs smoothly and participants have a great experience.
