Opportunity Description:

GENERAL ROLE DESCRIPTION Our mission at Ups and Downs is to effectively serve our members; individuals with Down syndrome and their friends/families. This exciting opportunity provides support and stewardship for our prospective and current Ups and Downs members.  Are you organized, friendly, task oriented, and can work both independently and with a team? You will creatively engage members and oversee members stewardship/recognition, as well as connect with other high skilled volunteers to ensure the highest level of service. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide support and assistance to existing members (ex: membership renewals, service feedback, etc.) Connect members with the staff or volunteer that pertains to their needs Manage member database and assist with troubleshooting Sustain and develop our existing membership engagement practices Work as a team with Program, Volunteer, and Communications Coordinators to ensure membership satisfaction. PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma preferred Experience with customer service Comfort or experience working with persons with disabilities Strong ability in teamwork and communication skills Experience with database administration
