Do you enjoy changing your nails to suit your day, your mood, or for a special occasion? We have residents who love to have their nails polished with their favourite colour or for seasonal occasions. If you would like to give your time and expertise, then the Personal Pampering volunteer position is for you. Enjoy companionship and conversation while giving our continuing care residents a fresh manicure. You would provide manicures to residents including: removal of polish, filing and nail polish application. Share your time and expertise while chatting with the residents. We have opportunities for both daytime and early evening hours. You will need: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with residents Understand the safety requirements and rules of the Brenda Strafford Foundation Sign in and out and track your hours Arrive on time and maintain a professional demeanor with residents and staff Report the resident’s participation to your supervisor for charting on their clinical record In a timely manner, let your supervisor know if you are running late or unable to fulfill your commitment
