The Calgary Women's Walking and Friendship Group promotes events to more than 1,500 women daily to help Calgary women grow their circle of female friends. Our website describes the walks, easy hikes, breakfasts, movies, museum visits and other fun social and fitness activities we offer.  It's cost-free to join the group, and the events are largely cost-free on our event site at this link EVENT HOST: We are recruiting volunteer hosts who want to host events for groups of women. Training is provided. You are welcome to host any event that appeals to you. Examples include: yoga, hikes, walks, museum visits, breakfast meetups, you name it. You are your own boss, and you can work remotely to plan your events, even one a month. RESPONSIBILITIES: Training is provided. Create your event (such as a walk in Calgary, for example) by planning the date, time, place and other details. Ensure parking spaces are available at the event location. Answer occasional questions from members when your event is posted on our website.  Optional: train to post your events on our website. BENEFITS:  Volunteers are rewarded with a free float trip on the calmest section of the Bow River courtesy of one of our event partners.  Grow your circle of friends as you host events for the friendship group.  Earn a reference to help you land a job.
