Heritage Park is one of Canada’s largest living history museums, with hundreds of exhibits, rides, shops, restaurants and daily demonstrations and activities to keep the young and the young-at-heart captivated in the past. Experiencing history is a year-round possibility. October to May is the Park’s winter operating season, during which you can explore the rare collection of vintage vehicles and petroliana in Gasoline Alley Museum and the charming shops and restaurants in the Heritage Town Square free zone, located before the Park gates. In the summer operating season, from May to October, the Heritage Town Square free zone, Gasoline Alley Museum and the bustling Historical Village are all open.
We are a caring, inclusive, and open Anglican community of faith. We seek to support each other in the events of life and share God’s love with the greater community we serve.
Our goal is to work with our community partners and all people of good will to enhance our common life together.
Artpoint Gallery & Studios Society was incorporated under the provisions of the Societies Act in 1998. Formed by artists, it is a non-profit artist-run studio and gallery supporting and promoting visual arts and art education in the Calgary community.

The Society is supported in part by grants from the Alberta Foundation for the Arts and the Calgary Arts Development Authority.

OBJECTIVES OF THE SOCIETY
As a non-profit cooperative association of artists:
- To support the development of the visual arts in Calgary
- To promote art education in the community
- To support the artistic work of members
- To provide for the exhibition of members’ works of art

- To foster good relationships between the Society and the local community.

The Calgary Society for Healthy Child Development is a charitable organization founded in 1998. We engage in activities that help families develop the skills they need to ensure their children grow up healthy and strong.
Our Vision: All children achieve optimal development.
Our Mission: The Calgary Society for Healthy Child Development seeks to increase awareness how parents, grandparents, extended family, and childcare providers can promote healthy childhood development, through the ages of birth to 6 years.
Grow Calgary is registered non-profit community farm dedicated to growing fresh produce for food insecure people in Calgary and surrounding communities.
Along with donating our produce, we advocate for system-level change to address food insecurity in our communities and provide education on this issue as well as small-scale farm management.
Our ultimate goal is to ensure that all residents of Calgary have consistent access to healthy, lo0cal food.
Insight Counselling & Therapy Centre provides high impact counselling and psychotherapy services to individuals and families, regardless of their income, to promote individuals emotional, social, and psychological well-being.
We provide needed counselling to vulnerable, low-income people and offer evidence-based therapy to deal with anxiety, conflict, relationship challenges, depression and so much more. Cost is never a barrier at Insight.
Formed in 1997, The Victoria Park Business Improvement Area (BIA)* is a not-for-profit business association that represents more than 350 merchants and businesses in the community of Victoria Park. Governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, the BIA works to promote and improve the area and is an advocate on important community issues.
Victoria Park is located in the Beltline just south of the downtown core, with boundaries roughly extending east to west from the Elbow River to 4th St SW, and north to south from the CPR tracks near 10th Ave to 17th Ave S.
Membership is automatic for business falling within the BIA boundaries.
Calgary Housing Company provides safe and affordable housing solutions for low- and moderate- income Calgarians in need of non-market rental housing. We operate over 7,100 housing units and administer approximately 3,080 private landlord rent supplements. We meet tenant needs through our varied programs, which include:
subsidized housing
near market rentals (approx. 10% below market rates)
rent supplements for tenants with private landlords
Our building management strategy uses a “mixed income model” that combines below market rates with deep subsidies. By balancing the proportion of units within an individual building, Calgary Housing Company ensures that new affordable housing developments are financially sustainable while providing an inclusionary approach to housing where tenants of mixed financial means are blended together.
Black Pride YYC is a Calgary based 2SLGBTQ+ non- profit, volunteer-driven and community service organization providing support programs to the African, Black and Caribbean communities.
Sleep in Heavenly Peace is Canadian non profit organization whose mission is to provide new twin beds or bunks to children who don't have beds of their own. Each Chapter raises funds in their own cummunties by partnering with local groups, business and individuals to make sure these beds are hand built, out-fitted with new mattresses and bedding and delivered to children in need. shpbeds.ca
The Terminator Foundation is a non-profit organization rooted in understanding the challenges individuals face with mental health and addiction. We champion individuals battling these issues using Activity Based Recovery Therapy (ABRT).
Founder and CEO, Vanisha Breault initiated the first Terminator Foundation 5k run for Youth Addiction Awareness took place in 2015 and we are excited to celebrate our 10th Run this year.
Taking a holistic and community-centered recovery approach, ABRT is an intensive 12 week program requiring athletes' dedication and full effort. Through the duration of the program, athletes amplify their physical strength while improving their mental and emotional resilience, building lifelong habits for a sustainable recovery. This revolutionary approach combats hopelessness, reduces withdrawal and relapse, strengthens both body and mind, boosts resiliency and teaches self-regulation.
The Alexandra Writers’ Centre Society aims to create a safe space where all storytellers are welcome. We provide a relaxed, friendly and encouraging environment where writers of all ages and abilities can practice their craft and sharing the joys and difficulties of the writing experience. We support writers’ development through a variety of classes, programs, and events, creating and reshaping offerings to meet the needs and interests of our members.
