As part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence, join the Women’s Resource Centre for a fun and interactive workshop about how to use ad-busting to challenge stereotypes of gender, sexuality and other issues portrayed in advertising. You’ll learn about the origins and purpose of ad-busting techniques, the kinds of harmful messages advertisements can convey, and try out ad-busting yourself using magazine ads. All materials will be provided.
