Opportunity Description:

We are seeking motivated individuals who are physically capable and looking to make a difference, in order to help victims of violence and their families! We are building a team of committed volunteers who already possess integrity, professionalism, and empathy that would be interested in helping move our clients home from an unsafe location to a safe one. As the moves are scheduled, an email will go out and volunteers can sign up for which dates and times work best for them. Our volunteers will be the ones physically moving the belongings into a moving truck and offloading the items at the safe location. This position is very unique and will be ongoing, with a very flexible schedule. Currently seeking volunteers for Edmonton, Calgary, Victoria and Vancouver. *all our clients participate in a thorough risk assessment and all safety planning will be in order prior to the move.
