The Program- Learning Enhancement and Education Program is a 3 week employment readiness group program that runs 8 times per year, that combining core workshops to develop the skills for obtaining and maintaining employment, with an individualized industry ticket training is streamed to address personal employment goals. The Position – The LEEP Volunteer will work directly with the people we serve offering guidance, information, and support. You will be supported by a Volunteer Supervisor. Time will be committed to your personal development and will include supervision, support, appraisal and training plans. Responsibilities * To provide support and motivation to the program participants. * To work as a part of a team in conjunction with the program staff to offer one-to-one support in creating resumes, enhancing digital literacy skills, applying for positions, and finding resources. * Co-Facilitating an employment focused workshop. * To assist the program participants in the development of intangible skills such as problem solving and assertiveness as well as nurturing in the development of self-esteem and self-confidence.
