A S2F Virtual Coach plays a significant role in encouraging children weekly to achieve positive change physically, mentally, and emotionally through fitness and literacy. Coaches help build confidence and motivation within children, while reducing learning gaps and developing a lifelong love of learning.Our Brainworx! is an online afterschool program for students in grades 1-6 and runs twice a week between Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, for 30-40 minutes each session. We focus on physical activity, literacy, and social-emotional development. Each group has 10-12 students and 3-4 coaches. Our Brainworx program has various start times between 4:30pm - 6:30pm EST.  We’re looking for reliable, tech-savvy volunteers to support students in Grades 1–6 through virtual sessions. As a Virtual Volunteer, you’ll help create a fun, inclusive, and consistent online learning space where kids feel seen and supported. Canadian Mental Health Association, Alberta Division, and Centre for Suicide Prevention (CMHA AB + CSP), is a provincial organization that leads community mental health and suicide prevention in Alberta, and suicide prevention in Canada. Our Board’s Nominating Committee is currently accepting applications for Board Director positions, to be elected at the Annual General Meeting, in June 2026. Prospective Directors will have a passion for, and commitment to, community mental health and suicide prevention.  What’s expected of CMHA AB + CSP Board Directors?Time commitmentCMHA AB + CSP’s Board Directors attend and actively participate in Board meetings and Committee meetings; all Board Directors sit on at least one Committee. The Board and Committees meet at least quarterly. Some attendance at CMHA AB + CSP-hosted events or representing CMHA AB + CSP at community events is also expected.
