We’re excited to announce that the 5K Foam Fest is back for 2026 and will be coming to Cochrane! These festivals are full of foamy fun, obstacle courses, music, food vendors etc. and Make-A-Wish is the chosen charity partner! We would love to have your help to make the days an amazing success by supporting the event Gear Check booth.COCHRANEDate: Saturday June 27th, 2026 (7:00am-4:30pm - various shift times)Location: Cochrane & District Agricultural Society (43080 Bow Valley Trail, Cochrane, AB T4C 1A9)Link to sign-up: Volunteer details — The 5K Foam Fest - Cochrane, AB — Race Roster — Registration, Marketing, FundraisingVOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIESGear Check Roles• Morning: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM• Afternoon: 11:30 AM – 4:30 PM• Full Day: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PMDuties include welcoming participants, managing bag check (including collecting a minimum $5 donation per bag to MAW), tagging and organizing items, and ensuring smooth pick-up.Please note: roles may shift based on event needs – we appreciate your flexibility!VOLUNTEER PERKS• Free run entry (same day if volunteering half day or future event depending on shift)• Full-day volunteers receive 2 free entries to future event• Snacks provided during your shiftYour support makes a real difference in helping create a memorable experience while supporting Make-A-Wish.
