a) To awaken and foster an informed interest in the history of the relations between Canada and Latin America

b) To bring together all persons and bodies having an interest in the history of the relations between Canada and Latin America

c) To foster and encourage research into the history of the relations between Canada and Latin America and publish findings

d) To provide a focal point for those interested in the history of the of the relations between Canada and Latin America

e) To build an extensive archive that might be developed into a digital database for people interested in the study of the history of the of the relations between Canada and Latin America

f) To collaborate with and support any other organisation which has similar interests to those mentioned above
