Calgary Communities Against Sexual Abuse (CCASA) is the primary sexual harassment, sexual abuse and sexual assault crisis, counselling and education service provider for Calgary and the surrounding areas. We exist to support, inform, educate, and empower and we are a leader in the field of sexual violence. With experienced and skilled clinical, police and court services, education and training, and sexual assault response teams we provide a continuum of programs and services to diverse communities throughout southern Alberta. As the largest sexual assault centre in Alberta we serve in a leadership position within a provincial network of sexual assault centres: the Association of Alberta Sexual Assault Services. Through this body and independently, we advocate for the needs of those individuals and communities impacted by sexual violence and deliver effective, timely and appropriate programs and services. This includes maintaining strong working relationships with partner organizations, both within the community and in the form of various public health, justice and educational institutions. Our services are both preventative of, and in response to, the impacts of sexual violence. We support survivors as they navigate the health, police and justice systems, provide a broad range of highly specialized counselling services, deliver training to community and professional organizations throughout the Calgary area and in primary, secondary and post-secondary settings we deliver comprehensive sexual violence education to the next generation of Canadians in the Calgary area.

Founded in 1918, the CNIB Foundation is a non-profit organization driven to change what it is to be blind today. We deliver innovative programs and powerful advocacy that empower people impacted by blindness to live their dreams and tear down barriers to inclusion. Our work as a blind foundation is powered by a network of volunteers, donors and partners from coast to coast to coast.

The Integrated Post Secondary Education Society of Alberta We are a non-profit organization that aims to provide life enriching opportunities and an unbound vision of the future for individuals with developmental disabilities.  The mission or philosophy of The Integrated Post Secondary Education Society is to: Provide an inclusive educational alternative to young adults with developmental disabilities by encouraging and supporting them to participate in a post-secondary experience (Inclusive Post-Secondary Education). Provide continuing support to the graduates of the post-secondary education experience in a workplace environment and connecting with the community. (Graduate Support Services). The objective of Inclusive Post-Secondary Education and the Graduate Support Services is to provide quality educational and workplace opportunities to students, and in so doing, to assist them in developing the skills and relationships necessary to live and work in the community.  Inclusion within the university population will offer the normative, age-appropriate setting, which will promote a variety of social interactions and many new skills, while workplace assistance will allow our graduates to maintain and improve on the skills acquired during their time in the university setting.  Our philosophy is to encourage men and women who have a developmentally disability to associate with other individuals and to develop lifelong, as well as life-defining, relationships.  These relationships are critical to an inclusive future for young adults as they strive to live productive lives in the community.  We also believe that people with disabilities should have the same opportunity as others to Further their education beyond the secondary level. We’re building a caring community where seniors can make themselves at home. Calgary Heritage Housing (CHH) has been a steward of local Alberta seniors housing assets for nearly four decades. Our focus is on the seniors self-contained, independent living demographic. We manage nine government-owned, rent-subsidized apartment buildings and townhomes within Calgary. Our tenants value their independence. We know they also value quality, affordability, and a sense of personal safety and security. Our focus is on providing a secure and comfortable living environment.  

Calgary Youth Justice Society has a 25-year history of helping vulnerable youth find their way through challenging life circumstances and sometimes unhealthy choices that can hold them back from reaching their full potential. We believe that every young person belongs and has the potential to meaningfully contribute to our community. Our strengths-based approach with a focus on positive youth development builds protective factors and reduces risk factors in youth served. Programs center around a relentless pursuit of strengths in our youth, building positive relationships with caring adults and peers, as well as connecting them in a meaningful way to their community. CYJS programs reach youth primarily within the scope of primary and secondary prevention. Youth served are at a point where vulnerabilities have been identified and at a time where the impact of strengthening protective factors to reduce risk factors and the development of poor outcomes.  

Luna exists to be a safe space where children, families, and caregivers can access support and resources that are needed after child abuse occurs. Our multidisciplinary team, made up of Luna Staff and Volunteers, Calgary Police Service, RCMP, Children's Services, Alberta Health Services, and Alberta Justice & Solicitor General, works towards the common goals of supporting children and youth throughout the entire disclosure, investigative, judicial and healing process. Luna creates a future where every child is heard and supported.

Elizabeth House is a life skills program and family-oriented home which welcomes at-risk pregnant and parenting women who need a safe place to live. From there these courageous mothers are empowered to work towards a transition to independent living as well as pursue the education or job skills training necessary to help set the foundation for a bright future. As a non-denominational program of the RC Diocese of Calgary, our vision is to be widely recognized as an effective and compassionate transitional home where residents are equipped with the life skills and confidence to be healthy parents as well as competitive in today's society. Our goal is for our residents to have access to opportunities and resources that will enable them to take charge of their life.
