The YMCA of Greater Toronto is a charity that ignites the potential in people, helping them grow, lead, and give back to their communities. As outlined in our 2020–2025 strategic plan, Ignite the Light, we are focused on boosting well-being and promoting equity across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Mirroring the diversity we’re privileged to have in the GTA, our YMCA offers a variety of programs responding to the needs of our communities. For 170 years, the YMCA of Greater Toronto has provided opportunities for people to shine through a variety of programs and services including health and fitness, licensed child care, camps, employment and immigrant services, education and training, and services for youth, families, and seniors.
YW Calgary is dedicated to supporting women and their families to thrive in a safe and equitable community by providing programs and services from shelter and housing to counselling, childcare, language instruction and supports to be economically prosperous. Our mission is prevention, intervention, empowerment and leadership for the benefit of women and their families. Our team brings together expertise from diverse backgrounds to support and advocate for all women and their families.
YouCreate is a Calgary non-profit company founded to promote artistic and musical community service projects. We also have a UCalgary club chapter which mirrors our projects. Every two years we focus on a new overarching theme. 2020 and 2021 focused on helping communities during the COVID-19 pandemic with fundraisers for the Drop-In Center, Calgary Food Bank, and more. In 2022 and 2023, we have been exploring the challenges faced by Indigenous communities through our podcast series: mynistypiksiiks (Many Different Birds). Our core mission and values include:

YouQuest is Calgary's first community for people with young-onset dementia (under 65 years) and their families. Our purpose is to promote health and well-being by ensuring access to recreation therapy, counselling and peer support. YouQuest offers a place to belong, a reliable support network to families for full-day respite and caregiver peace of mind to maintain family responsibilities.
A registered charity, YouQuest provides access to recreation centre amenities people to follow their own interests. Our Recreation Therapy staff and community volunteers provide functional support as needed to help people achieve well-being, learn new skills, and maintain their independence.
Youth Challenge International (YCI) is a leading global youth development organization that promotes youth innovation to drive positive change. Together with our partners we create market ready solutions that catapult youth around the world to succeed and prosper; we are driven by youth and their potential to affect positive change in the world. Our solutions are focused – always keeping the young people we are designing for and with at the center of the conversation. Our approach is rooted in creativity and constantly evolving to respond to changing needs and market realities. YCI is an organization where diversity and talent come together to shape a better future for youth around the world.
motionball Calgary is a fundraising organization in support of Special Olympics, our two annual events are the motionball Gala and the Marathon of Sport.
At Alzheimer Calgary, We lead with our influence and expertise to help people impacted by dementia to live well and we build community capacity to support them.

ôˈspiSHəs art kə’lektiv is a non-profit Art and Artist society focused on embracing the whole community. We’re committed to make Art as well as Artists accessible to everyone through an interactive gallery space located in the vibrant neighborhood of Inglewood. We provide space for Artists to create, showcase and sell their Art while being open to the public. ôˈspiSHəs believes in great beginnings through the healing power of Art, featuring Artists who are on a journey of recovery. The gallery is a central hub available for use by individual Artists, Art therapy, addiction support groups, community engagement groups and we are open to collaboration with many other associations.
