• To provide peer-to-peer mutual support for men and their families on their journey with prostate cancer,
• To increase public awareness and understanding of the disease,
• To advocate for a strong provincial voice in matters relating to prostate cancer.

Mission: Calgary's PCC fights cancer through ; Rapid Access to innovate personalized clinical care; proactively providing current medical information on the importance of early detection and reducing lifestyle risk factors; one on one peer support; academic and industry research; all in a one stop patient focused , non profit, premier medical facility.

 

Pumphouse Theatres Society

For almost 50 years, The Pumphouse Theatre has been a home for Calgary’s emerging performing arts scene. In any given year more than a dozen companies will produce over 35 shows in the two theatres. The groups that perform at the Pumphouse Theatre range from large established companies to small up-and-coming artists collectives. Consequently, the shows produced here range from blockbuster musicals to Irish dramas to cutting-edge performance art as well as dance.

Rocky Mountain Eagle Research Foundation

The Rocky Mountain Eagle Research Foundation (RMERF) is dedicated to the study and conservation of eagles and other migrant raptors. Since 1992, RMERF volunteers have performed annual raptor migration counts at the same site location in the Kananaskis Country, Alberta, spring and fall; significantly providing data to the understanding of and amazement in watching Golden Eagles.
