Our club is part of friendship organization known as Gyro international. We have a club website that is WordPress based and linked to our parent organization - gyro.org.
Liver Canada (LC), formerly known as the Canadian Liver Foundation, was first established in 1969 out of the passion and concern of a group of business leaders and doctors who believed that liver disease and those affected needed a champion. Since then, LC has relentlessly driven advancements in research, treatment, and support.
We remain the only non-governmental organization in Canada focused on liver health, and we’re the main source of non-profit funding for all forms of liver diseases.
With the help of donors, volunteers, researchers, health professionals, corporate supporters, and community members, we are changing the future of liver health for those living in Canada.
We will continue to support Canada’s top liver experts. We will educate Canadians on ways to protect their liver health. We will be there for people coping with liver diseases so that no one has to face it alone. We won’t stop until we realize a world where there’s liver health for all.
Many women are looking for self-identity, self-confidence, and wholeness. Our ministry is those women because we believe that every woman is complete in who she is in Christ Jesus no matter what society says. She is a woman who lacks nothing and has nothing missing - simply put "she is an All Woman!"
We are a caring, inclusive, and open Anglican community of faith. We seek to support each other in the events of life and share God’s love with the greater community we serve.

The FCJ Centre is an interfaith retreat and conference centre, located in downtown Calgary. The Centre is an ideal location for meetings, conferences, workshops and retreats. Canadian Progress Club - Calgary City Centre women’s club is a friendly, inclusive group of women who work together to help others in our community. New members are always welcome! We meet from 6:30 to 8:00 pm on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month between September and June, at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 285 at 9202 Horton Rd SW.

For more than 50 years, Silvera for Seniors has provided safe, affordable housing for 1,500 lower-income Calgary seniors from all walks of life. We are Calgary’s largest provider of seniors’ housing, the second largest in Alberta.
Our 25 communities are located in all four quadrants of the city. They offer independent living with a range of support options for lower-income seniors in the “silver era” of their lives.
We recognize that all people are individuals, and we work to create vibrant communities that residents can call home. We work with partners across Calgary to enhance the services and supports we provide.

OPERATION KICKSTART, a non profit society, reg'd in 1996, is seeking 5 volunteers. Applicants need to be retired, with at least 2 references, aged 50 + and a university degree. We assist the unemployed, teaching basic digital skills and providing those job seekers with access to computers, to search the internet for jobs. Our program assist with resume writng, cover letters, strategies for interviews. Each accepted applicant is assigned a case worker whose task it is to mentor that applicant. All volunteers shall attend a training course of several hours. Volunteers must be able to attend our offices on 3rd street sw, for at least 1 day a week. Office hours are from 9-noon and 1-4. Tasks of volunteers will be to answer phones, assist walk ins with filling out applications, setting appointments for classes. Calgary is in the midst of serious challenge as the economy is staggering and many need our help. FINDING A JOB IS A JOB-we cannot help everyone but our mission is to make sure serious job hunters have basic computers skills and direction of how to search online for jobs. Help us help these deserving people.
To share the Jamaican culture with the wider Calgary community, provide social interaction among members and to advocate and represent the Jamaican community in matters which affect their welfare and their integration into Canadian society.
