Our ministry is those women because we believe that every woman is complete in who she is in Christ Jesus no matter what society says. The FCJ Centre is an interfaith retreat and conference centre, located in downtown Calgary. The Centre is an ideal location for meetings, conferences, workshops and retreats. Whatever the need, whether it is for one person, a small group, or 150, every package is geared toward your needs. We have full conference facilities, comprehensive dining facilities, extensive cultivated gardens and a beautiful Chapel. The Calgary Immigrant Educational Society (CIES) is a non-profit charitable organization that has been serving Calgary for almost 30 years. With over 150 staff and students from 75 different nationalities, we’ve become an integral part of Calgary’s immigrant serving community and continue to strive to give newcomers and low-income Canadians the opportunities to find their rightful place in our city.
Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) – Calgary Region is part of Canada’s most established national mental health organizations, the Canadian Mental Health Association. CMHA facilitates access to resources people require to maintain and improve mental health and community integration, build resilience and support recovery from mental illness and addiction.
CMHA – Calgary Region builds awareness and provides education, advocacy and support for individuals and families living with mental illness, addiction, or a loss by suicide. We provide community-based support programs, including supportive and independent living, homeless outreach, aboriginal outreach, suicide bereavement support and peer support programs for families and individuals. We work closely with other community organizations to bridge gaps in the mental health care system and facilitate access to important services and resources.
