Long-term studies on individually marked vertebrate species are rare. It may take several decades to observe and document the behaviour and full life history of individuals from birth to death. In my talk I will explore why long-term studies are so important for behavioural ecology, management, and conservation. To illustrate this Dr. Ruckstuhl, Associate Professor,Department of Biological Sciences will be presenting long-term (33 years) research on Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep.

Room No 211 Bioscience Building

Dr. Ruckstuhl Associate Professor, Biological Sciences
