Emerging Leaders Program

The Emerging Leaders Program is an annual cohort of approximately 300 first-year students dedicated to exploring their leadership potential. Each participant is partnered with a professional staff or faculty member or a senior-level student. Student have access to developmental opportunities including: a retreat per semester, workshops provided by various departments from the university, keynote speaker events, and more. Participants are challenged to take their learning outside of the classroom—the Emerging Leaders Program is a great way to begin participants’ development of their Co-Curricular Record. There is a nominal fee of $55 for attending the Emerging Leaders Program Retreat in September. To cover this cost, students may consider applying for funding from the Student Activities Fund.
