El mes de la hispanidad

We are very pleased to invite you to the events of El mes de la hispanidad in October. The events will include an array of cultural activities, including lectures on Cervantes by leading scholars, Dr. Rachel Schmidt and Dr. Kenneth Brown; dance performances by groups (Así es Colombia, México Mestizo, Sabores de flamenco and Venezuela Canadian Association of Calgary); Flamenco and Salsa dance workshops, a cultural exhibition of cultural goods Latin America and Spain and a film screening by director Sebastián Borenszteing. El mes de la hispanidad has been organized by Melania Pascual, the Coordinator at the Aula Cervantes, Dr. Elizabeth Montes and Dr. Fresia Sánchez of the Department of French Italian and Spanish. El mes de la hispanidad is presented by the Department of French Italian and Spanish and the Instituto Cervantes, in collaboration with Spain Arts and Culture, the Latin American Research Centre and sevearl partners and sponsors.
