Campus Commuter Challenge

Leave your car at home and try cycling, taking public transit, walking, rollerblading, skateboarding or telecommuting (working from home) as part of Campus Commuter Challenge as the University of Calgary goes head-to-head against other Canadian post-secondary institutions. Participation is quick and easy! Step 1: Go to commuterchallenge.ca/campus and click Registration. Step 2: Complete the registration details and chose “University of Calgary” when asked about your institution. Step 3: Log your commutes (mode and distance) daily Sept. 22 – Oct. 3. As you log your commutes, your impacts will be recorded and will accumulate over the week. Emission reduction, calorie consumption, distance and fuel cost savings will all be tracked.
