The University of Calgary presents the second annual V-Day Production of The Vagina Monologues, joining the global effort to stop violence against women and girls. This award-winning play is based on the playwright Eve Ensler’s interviews with more than 200 women, and celebrates women’s sexuality and strength with humour and grace. For 16 years The Vagina Monologues has given voice to experiences and feelings not previously exposed in public. Tickets will be available starting January 9, 2014 – $10 advance or $15 at the door. (Tickets are available for purchase online or in person through the Campus Ticket Centre.) Please be advised that tickets for this production sold out in advance last year and will likely sell out again this year.
