The University of Calgary community and general public are invited to the 5th annual Earth Week Campus Clean-up and Barbecue hosted by Facilities. Come out and help make the University of Calgary campus a better place to learn, work, live and play with a little spring cleaning! The Campus Cleanup and Barbecue will be held on Friday, April 25, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the TFDL Quad (Rainout date is April 28). The day will begin with an orientation, where bags and gloves will be provided. After the cleanup, participants can celebrate with the barbecue and beverages. All volunteers who pre-register will be entered into a draw for a special door prize. Onsite registrants will be entered into a draw for other eco-prizes. You nourish your soul by fulfilling your destiny, by developing the potential that the soul represents. When you fulfill your soul’s destiny, you will feel “right.” Conversely, when you ignore your soul’s destiny, when you get caught up in your own self-interests and forget to care for others, you will not feel “right.” Instead, you will feel empty and unfulfilled. When I talk to people who feel this emptiness and lack of fulfillment, I recommend they find a source of balance in their lives. I suggest they find a way to “give back” to the world in order to feel a sense of completeness.
