Music Ensemble Concert: Jazz Orchestra

The University of Calgary Jazz Repertory Ensemble is dedicated to performing music from the entire history of jazz music. In addition to works by composer/musicians such as Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Fletcher Henderson and Benny Goodman, the group also performs contemporary works representing a broad stylistic diversity. The instrumentation of the ensemble varies according to repertoire, utilizing a core of five saxophones, five trombones, five trumpets, guitar, bass, piano, drums and percussion players. Adults: $12, Students/Seniors: $9 Tickets are available at the door (cash only) UCalgary students can see this performance for free thanks to the Claim Your Seat program. UCalgary staff and faculty receive a 2-for-1 discount by showing their UNICARD at the box office.
