Opportunity Description:

The Treasurer of the Western Canada Peer Training Society (WCPTS) oversees the organization’s finances, including managing transactions, maintaining records, and assisting with budgeting. They prepare financial reports for the Board and members monthly and ensure that audits are completed smoothly. The Treasurer also chairs the Finance Committee and works with the Executive Committee to maintain sound financial practices. This role involves managing funds and presenting financial statements at the Annual General Meeting. The commitment is 7-9 hours, and strong organizational and financial skills are required.
