Opportunity Description:

We are seeking skilled and passionate volunteers with the ability to volunteer consistently 1-5 days/week. We are searching for drivers with a valid license & 2 million liability insurance with a truck or cargo van to do regular pick ups. We have many opportunity openings for those looking to grow their experience, gain practicum hours in various degree fields like office management & accounting, fundraising, event planning, educational programming, teaching, digital media and graphic design, social services, community outreach, marketing and networking, art majors, design and musicians. We are also looking for dedicated and reliable labour volunteers to help with the sorting, sanitizing, heavy lifting and everyday operations. These opportunities not only bring you the ability to be a part of something impactful for our City and area; you also get to learn and be involved with a growing movement, driven for change and equal opportunities for our areas most vulnerable and marginalized populations. We will provide recommendation letters and assessment letters upon request, for employment reference , Degree practicum hours and ever evolving opportunities to share and have heard your ideas. We do require criminal record and vulnerable sector checks at your expense. Having a Criminal conviction does not necessarily disqualify you, we evaluate carefully case by case.
