STEAMistic Calgary (Project Manager of Instruction)

• Appropriate for volunteers aged between 18 and 55
• Training or orientation required

STEAMistic is a youth-led initiative that aims to distribute STEAM-related educational materials & activities to youth from low SES backgrounds across Edmonton & Calgary. Our goal is to ignite curiosity among the youth & help them build innovation, leadership & critical thinking skills. The project manager – instruction position entails working with a Director of Instructions and a small group of volunteers to host in-person STEAM workshops at collaborating organizations (all are located in Calgary). Some previous experience in planning and delivering workshops as well as creating instructional materials is an asset. To be eligible to apply, applicants may be high school students, university students (undergraduate or graduate), or graduates who have completed their degree within the last five years.
