JA is Canada’s largest youth education organization, focusing on entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and work readiness skills. We are on a mission to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. We’re looking for volunteers to deliver our programming in local schools and encourage students to develop an entrepreneurial spirit, financial literacy, and work readiness skills. In addition to a one hour training session, volunteers are provided with student workbooks, a facilitator’s guide, and PowerPoint presentation. A teacher will be present to assist with classroom management. You’re welcome to deliver the program solo, or recruit a friend/colleague to join you! Our volunteers represent a variety of professional backgrounds and range of experience levels – from entrepreneurs and senior executives to junior staff, all from across a wide range of industries. Volunteers can commit to just one weekday morning (approximately 4 hours), or several mornings throughout the school year.
