Start2Finish’s mission is to break the cycle of child poverty by providing ongoing educational support to Canada’s at risk children throughout their school years, nurturing mind, body and social health so they are empowered to succeed and become role models for change. For the last 20+ years, what has driven us is the desire to make Canada one of the best places to raise a child. Our work targets three outcomes for school-aged students living on the margins: increased physical activity and develops social-emotional agencies, aid in reaching and maintaining literacy skills and develop skills and agencies that contribute to success in high school. Achieving these outcomes is the key to making our ambitious vision of success for all Canadian children a reality.

BOSS Dodgeball Calgary League is a non-profit organization operated by a team of passionate, dedicated, and professional individuals, who truly value athleticism and sportsmanship. The athlete in us allows us to play and excel in the sport. The professional in us allows us to properly manage and promote growth in the organization. But most importantly, the recognition of being amongst friends allows us to take this sport to a more personal level. As a non-profit sports league, we encourage volunteers to get involved in this fun environment and to learn more about Dodgeball. Our ultimate goal is to bring the community together by spreading the love for Dodgeball. We strive to create an inclusive, friendly, and fun environment where all participants can enjoy the sport. As we continue to grow, we will always remember our core value: we are a community. We are committed to giving back to the community through member appreciation events, sponsorships, and charity events. Water Ski and Wakeboard Canada is responsible for coordinating, growing and developing towed water sports from initiation to high performance. Responsible for the overall health of the sport in collaboration with our Provincial Sport Organizations, WSWC leads through proactive advocacy, strengthened partnerships, effective communications and coordinated leadership. Representing several interest groups in the sport, Water Ski & Wakeboard Canada has been in the business of serving the towed water sports community since 1949. A non-profit organization, Water Ski & Wakeboard Canada is the sole national sport governing body and recognized water ski and wake sport authority in Canada, representing all competitive Canadian towed water sports including adaptive water ski & wakeboard, barefoot, marathon, show ski, wakeboard, wake park, wakesurf, wakeskate, and water ski. As the national association, WSWC is also responsible for high performance, national championships, and developing the national programming for grassroots development, coaching and long term athlete development.

We are a non-profit organization based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, dedicated to offering diverse recreational and competitive para cycling opportunities for para-athletes, coaches, and volunteers. Our mission is to create and support sport opportunities ranging from developmental to elite levels, focusing on athletic competition, technical development, leadership, and integration.

For over 93 years, Camp Cadicasu Association of Calgary has provided a safe, affordable place for children and youth aged 7-15 years of age as well as over 10+ generations of families, the Calgary Public and Separate School Board, special interest groups like the Duke of Edinburgh Award candidates, Boys Scouts, Girl Guides, Environmental workshop attendees, Hikers and sports enthusiasts who want easy access to the ski hills of Canmore and Banff.  We also host weddings and family get-togethers for Calgarians of diverse backgrounds and experiences. Today our Board, whose members possess and demonstrate a strategic combination of personal attributes, expertise, social capital, competencies, and occupational backgrounds so that, collectively, it has access to a broad diversity of experiences, perspectives, knowledge, connections, and skills to carry out its governance, planning, stewardship, and advocacy functions. We are looking for a Board Director. Terms are for three (3) years, and term limits are set at 3 terms.  Camp Cadicasu orientation and training is provided to new Board Directors. Board Directors commit to attending and actively participating in approximately four (2-hour) Board Meetings/year (on ZOOM), 1 full-day Strategy Meeting, and approximately four (2-hour) Committee Meetings/year. Please note that most Board Directors serve on one Committee  Management, Fundraising, Marketing, Human Resource Advisor, Finance, Special Projects, and Governance). Based on Camp Cadicasu's most recent skills matric review, our immediate preference for the upcoming Board appointments will be given to a candidate demonstrating strategic skillsets and experience in Financial Management. While previous Board governance experience is not required, successful candidates must exhibit the qualities of a strong governor. Judo has been in Canada for over 100 years. Operating as a non-profit governance to promote and support the development and promotion of the Olympic sport of Judo. Currently recruiting volunteers for the 2025 Judo National competition being held in Calgary.

Wheelchair rugby is a co-ed parasport that is fast, physical, and exciting. CWRA supports our local athletes and encourages new players to come out and give the sport a try!

The Government of Canada, the Province of Alberta, and the City of Calgary have provided funding support to host Play On! 2026: One Nation. With this support comes their invitation to us all to bring 300 teams together and to hold the largest street hockey event in Canada since 2017. The event is also being supported by Hockey Alberta, Hockey Calgary, the Canadian Ball Hockey Association, and Ball Hockey Alberta. With that, we are now on the Road to 300. We invite teams of all ages, gender, and experience levels from across Calgary, from across Alberta, and from all parts of Canada to unite by playing the game we all love. But One Nation is about more than what happens on the street. Along with competition, community, and unforgettable memories, participants can look forward to our Celebrity Draft. Donations support the Play On! Calgary 2026 community benefit framework, which benefits the Calgary Food Bank, Calgary Police Youth Foundation, and Play On!’s community programming. At UPSA, we believe sport should be for everyone — not in spite of disability, but with it fully in mind. We're a Calgary-based non-profit working to remove the barriers that keep people with physical disabilities from experiencing the challenge, community, and joy of sport. Our mission is simple: give athletes with physical disabilities real, ongoing access to adaptive sport, handcycling, para cycling, and adaptive Nordic skiing so they can train, compete, and belong. Our vision is a Calgary where adaptive sport isn't an afterthought, but a normal, thriving part of the athletic community, with the coaching, equipment, and volunteer support to back it up. We can't do that alone. Every race day, clinic, and training session depends on volunteers who show up. Whether that's helping an athlete onto a handcycle for the first time, marshalling a course, or just being an encouraging face at the finish line. For a lot of our athletes, the moment they realize they can compete like any other athlete is life-changing, and our volunteers are the ones who help make that moment happen.
