The Calgary Wheelchair Rugby Association Needs YOU!

The Calgary Wheelchair Rugby Association is looking for volunteers to support our weekly practices, and we’d love to have you join our team! Wheelchair rugby is a co-ed sport that is fast, physical, and exciting — and our athletes can’t get on court without the help of dedicated volunteers.

As a volunteer, you may help with:
- Assisting athletes with transferring into and out of rugby chairs
- Setting up and maintaining equipment
- Supporting practice setup, cleanup and you might even get to play!
- Ensuring a safe, fun, and inclusive environment

Why volunteer?
- Be part of an amazing adaptive sport community
- Gain hands-on experience in para-sport
- Earn volunteer hours (perfect for students)
- Have fun while making a real difference

Details:
- Practices held in NW Calgary – location to be provided upon signing up
- Weekly practices – every Wednesday, 6:40pm – 9:30pm
- No experience needed — we’ll provide orientation and training
