The Latin American Research Centre and the Dept. of French, Italian & Spanish welcome Odile Cisneros, Associate Professor in the Dept. of Modern Languages and Cultural Studies at the University of Alberta. This presentation, titled Can Literature Save the Planet? Lessons from Latin America, will sketch a broad panorama of the interactions between literature and environment in Latin America and the lessons that can be learned from ecocriticism.
