As the SHAD experience comes to a close, the students and staff will be hosting an Open House Day. Parents, guardians, relatives and friends are all invited to attend the activities. The open house will include displays about our activities including workshops, lectures, guest speakers and recreation. We also share our prototypes and business models of our design projects. The design challenge for this year, shared by all 12 host SHAD campuses across Canada, is “How might we improve food security for Canadians?” SHADs are expected to plan, organize, construct and present the exhibits to our visitors.
