Three Calgary leaders from the non-profit sector will take part in a panel: Addressing Poverty in Calgary: Issues, Challenges, Strategies. It will be held at Grace Presbyterian Church, 1009 – 15th Ave. SW, Calgary. Members of the Panel, Addressing Poverty in Calgary, include Derek Cook, Former Executive Director, Calgary Poverty Reduction Initiative; Darrell Howard, Community Facilitator, Vibrant Communities Calgary; and Jeff Loomis, Director, Momentum: Community Economic Development Society. This is the fourth annaul event on issues of poverty and homelessness in Calgary to be sponsored by the Chair of Christian Thought at the University of Calgary.
