Johnny Summers is a vocalist, trumpet player, arranger, composer, producer, educator, and recording artist who approaches music in a natural way, with hard swinging stunning musical lines, effortless flexibility and a mature sound. His latest recording, Piano Sessions Volume 1 is the winner of two 2013 Global Music Awards for Best Male Vocalist and Best Listener Impact for Entertainment Value. He has also been nominated by AMPIA for his work writing film scores. Johnny is a performing artist for P. Mauriat trumpets and directs the Calgary Jazz Orchestra.
