Want to see what a true wilderness experience is like? This preview covers an extended canoe trip in Northern Saskatchewan that is so remote, you access it via a float plane, and your only communication with the outside world is a sat phone. Big canyons and lots of whitewater make this river perfect for intermediate paddlers—and it has exceptional fishing and beautiful waterfalls to enjoy as well. Our certified paddling guide is presenting and will answer all your questions! This presentation is free. There’s no registration required, just show up early to get a good spot.

Location:

Kinesiology Building Room KNB 126

Speaker:

Angela Harder, Outdoor Centre Paddling Program Coordinator/Guide

Growth of the soul is our goal, and there are many ways to encourage that growth, such as through love, nature, healing our wounds, forgiveness, and service. The soul grows well when giving and receiving love. I nourish my soul daily by loving others and being vulnerable to their love. Love is, after all, a verb, an action word, not a noun.
Joan Borysenko, Ph.D.
