Foothills Medical Centre hosts Diabetes Awareness Day and Expo

The Julia McFarlane Diabetes Research Centre and the Canadian Diabetes Association invite you to the 14th annual Diabetes Awareness Day and Expo, a free, empowering education-filled event for people living with diabetes. This year’s agenda will highlight the theme of healthy living. This event is an opportunity for individuals living with diabetes, or those who know someone living with diabetes to gather and engage in a morning of education while networking and learning about new resources. We invite you to join us in Calgary’s biggest diabetes event. We are excited to welcome to our stage many well-respected experts in the diabetes community to discuss topics, such as: current research initiatives, heart health, self-management and nutrition. The day will also include an interactive trade show, experiential learning and opportunities and chances to win prizes. Speakers Dr. Ali Zentner as this year’s motivational speaker.
