The Latin American Research Centre will be hosting a screening of the Argentinian film Las Viudas de los Jueves (Thursday Night Widows) by Marcelo Piñeyro. The film depicts the downfall of the “nouveau riche” during the 90’s financial crisis in Latin America by deconstructing the material world where hypocrisy and money coexist. This event is FREE and OPEN to the public. Spanish with English subtitles!
