The overlap between social justice and environmental justice is an area where social work can begin to develop a more holistic understanding, becoming more able to engage with a diverse clientele and rapidly changing world. This will be a presentation discussing how social issues relate to environmental issues and why this perspective is important to social work education, practice and discourse. The presentation and discussion will hopefully inspire people to take into account the physical environment when working with clients, communities, organizations, governments etc. Please come to join in a rich discussion to share your thoughts on this topic. Refreshments will be made available for all to enjoy.
