Arts and Science faculty are invited to take part in an interactive workshop presented by the Faculty of Arts Equity and Diversity Committee and the Office of Diversity, Equity and Protected Disclosure. Diversity and Empowerment: Are you an Ally? Being an ally is an essential element in addressing diversity and inclusion and fostering change. Becoming an effective ally is not an easy task and requires self-awareness, reflection on privilege, critical thinking and building alliances.
