Opportunity Description:

Join the Heart & Stroke volunteer team! Heart & Stroke Foundation, Calgary office, is currently looking for out going, enthusiastic individuals who are seeking to leverage and/or sharpen their skills in an office environment, while supporting a great cause at the same time. Currently, we are in need of volunteers who have strong communication and computer skills. We need volunteers to assist us making many telephone calls to our constituents who are vital to the success of our door to door canvass campaign. From now until the end of December, we are seeking volunteers to help us call these constituents and ask them to support us by canvassing for our “Heart Month” in February. This campaign runs every February, and in the months leading up to it we try our best to reach as many of these constituents as possible via phone calls. We would provide you with a list of people to call and a script you can use to communicate with them. You will be asking them to support our door to door canvass again. The people on this list have canvassed for us either last year, or in the past at some point. This opportunity is available immediately. We are doing telephone recruitment every day until the end of December, and we could really use some help!
