Join in Data for Good’s DataThon May 29-31 Are you someone who loves to explore data and wants to do good for the community? Want to work with some interesting & engaging data? Join us for this exciting DataThon organized by Data for Good at the University of Calgary. At this event we will be working with exciting data from the Calgary Distress Centre. This dataset features over 2GB of anonymized information about more than two million phone calls, dating back to 2003. You do not need to be an expert to take part, but you should have knowledge of or interest in social data, data analytics, visualization, programming, statistics, or data science. Bring your excitement, data skill, and desire to learn and get ready to dive into the valuable operational datasets that will be made available for analytics and visualization. This event is hosted by the Department of Computer Science of the University of Calgary.
